Before founding VMC, Jennifer managed public relations for the CEO of Hitatchi Data Systems, where she drove executive visibility, both internally and externally through a multi-faceted communications program that generated extensive media interest and news coverage. Jennifer’s operating experience also includes serving as director of communications of the BMC Group, a leading information-management and professional services firm, where she was a member of the executive team and established the company’s investor relations practice. In addition, Jennifer has led financial communications, crisis communications and corporate social responsibility for Sun MicroSystems, and managed strategy and crisis communications for Enron during its widely watched reorganization. Jennifer has also lead strategy development for corporate restructurings, major business transactions and targeted communications for Covad Communications, Barney’s New York, Einstein/Noah Bagel Company, Loewen Group, Service Merchandise, DirecTV, ICN Pharmaceuticals, Washington Group International, Motorola, In-N-Out Burger, Sara Lee Food and Beverage, Capital Group Companies and Korea IT. Jennifer earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of California San Diego in 1994. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the Association for Corporate Growth, the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, where she sits on the Communications Committee. |
